GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE aims to promote emerging European musicians and strengthen youth music competitions. It supports both through exploring new strategies of how youth music competitions can develop audiences, and by enhancing the capacities of young European musicians to communicate with existing audiences and to reach out to new and “non-audiences”.
To achieve the objectives and to address the target audiences, GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE proposes a diverse set of activities:
- International workshops and interactive performances on audience communication
- Reach out sessions with young refugees, immigrants, travellers and underrepresented groups
- Musical theatre for families
- An online violin competition
To maximise the outreach, the partners cooperate with public radios and the European Broadcasting Union. Online profiles of young European musicians will facilitate their selection and will internationalise their careers.
