Two UK projects to receive EFP support at Hot Docs 2019
European Film Promotion - supported through Creative Europe's Access to Markets scheme - has selected the projects to feature in its showcase 'The Changing Face of Europe' at the upcoming edition of Hot Docs in Toronto, Canada (25 April to 5 May).
As well as a section of the festival dedicated to European filmmakers, the selected projects and their teams will also have access to industry activities such as pitches and meetings with potential buyers.
This year two projects with UK involvement have been chosen:
- Seahorse, UK, directed by Jeanie Finlay
- Scheme Birds, UK/Sweden, directed by Ellen Fiske, Ellinor Hallin
To discover the full list of projects selected, as well as their festival screening times visit the EFP website.
In addition to this initiative, EFP offers Film Sales Support to international sales agents who are marketing European films at the documentary festival. The two films to have received support this year can be found here.
