
Three MEDIA-supported films receive BAFTAs
From the nine Creative Europe-supported films nominated for 2017 BAFTAs, three won awards at the ceremony on 12 February.
- I, Daniel Blake (United kingdom, France, Belgium) took home the award for Outstanding British Film
- Son of Saul (Hungary) won the award for Film Not in the English Language
- and Florence Foster Jenkins (United Kingdom, France) won the award for Makeup & Hair
In addition, this year’s award for Outstanding Contribution to Cinema went to Curzon.
