Respond to the public consultation on EU funding
What should the future of EU programmes such as Creative Europe look like? How can we shape Creative Europe's successor to make sure it works for the changing needs of the UK's cultural and audiovisual sectors?
Ahead of the next EU budget, the European Commission is launching a series of public consultations on budget priorities beyond 2020. As Creative Europe is funded through the EU budget, this is an opportunity to influence its future set-up.
Anyone who has an interest is invited to submit a response. You may wish to consider that:
- The UK still participates in Creative Europe, and there is also a possibility of it participating in future EU programmes. Whether it can is up to the UK-EU negotiations.
- If the UK is not able to participate, the next programme could still be written so that it is favourable to the UK in other ways.
- This is a chance for the UK sector to explain how the UK's involvement in Creative Europe has had a mutual beneficial impact through the partnerships, network and opportunities it supports.
Have your say now and respond to the consultation.
Deadline: Extended to midnight on 9 March 2018.
