Projects announced for Sheffield Doc/Fest MeetMarket and Crossover Market
Sheffield Doc/Fest has announced the projects chosen for the MeetMarket and Crossover Market at this year's festival.
64 projects have been chosen from 19 countries to pitch at the MeetMarket, which is supported by the Creative Europe - MEDIA sub-programme. This year’s selection features stories to educate and amaze from all over the world: iconic jazz musicians, a prison run by inmates, the de-radicalisation of Europe and an Indian bandit queen, to name just a few. To see the full list of projects, visit the Doc/Fest MeetMarket web pages.
For the Crossover Market, 26 projects have been selected from 12 countries, including interactive and digital projects about being transgender in Uganda, the emotional relationship between music and sound, games, and virtual reality experiences which take you into a futuristic climate change quandary. To see the full list of chosen projects, visit the Doc/Fest Crossover Market website.
250 confirmed buyers will join the events, with the full list of attendees available to view on the Doc/Fest website.
