
'Eeemerging' Creative Europe-supported opportunity at York Early Music Festival
The National Centre for Early Music (NCEM) are holding the biennial International Young Artists Competition for early music ensembles, as part of York Early Music Festival 2015 (2-11 July 2015). The competition offers:
- Professional career development opportunities and international platform for emerging talent
- A cheque for £1000, recording contract from Linn Records and opportunities to work with BBC Radio 3 and National Centre for Early Music for the winner
- Prizes from the EUBO Development Trust, Cambridge Early Music Festival and the Friends of York Early Music Festival
In 2015, one ensemble will be chosen to take part in the eeemerging, Emerging European Ensembles programme. This Large Cooperation Project, supported by Creative Europe and involving 8 partners, promotes the emergence of new talent in early music. More details are available on the NCEM website.
