52 films line up for the European Film Awards

On 12 December 2015, the 28th European Film Awards will be celebrated in Berlin, Germany, and the European Film Academy (EFA) have just announced the list of 52 nominated titles. With 36 countries represented, the list illustrates the great diversity in European cinema.

A number of UK Creative Europe-funded films and co-productions feature in the line-up, including Andrew Haigh's 45 YearsMiss Julie (UK/Norway/Ireland/France), Paddington (UK/France), Tale of Tales (UK/Italy/France), The Duke of Burgundy (UK/Hungary), The Lobster (UK/Ireland/Greece/France/The Netherlands) and Youth (La Giovinezza) (UK/Italy/France/Switzerland).
