Mug (Twarz), a 2018 Polish film directed by Małgorzata Szumowska, centres around Jacek, a cool misfit who loves heavy metal, his girlfriend and his dog. Jacek works at the construction site where the world's largest statue of Jesus is being built. When a severe accident disfigures him completely, the Polish media follows him as he undergoes the first facial transplant in the country, after which he experiences ensuing identity issues.
Mug screened at the Berlin International Film Festival 2018, where it was awarded the Silver Bear - Grand Jury Prize.
