Good Pitch brings together documentary filmmakers with foundations, NGOs, campaigners, philanthropists, policy makers, brands and media around leading social and environmental issues - to forge coalitions and campaigns that are good for all these partners, good for the films and good for society. The seven projects selected to pitch at the 2015 event are:
- A Haunting History - Ilse and Femke van Velzen, Netherlands
- Blue ID - Burcu Melekoglu and Vuslat Karan, Turkey
- The Borneo Case - Dylan Williams and Erik Pauser, Sweden
- The Island and the Whales - Mike Day, UK
- Notes on Blindness - Peter Middleton and James Spinney, UK
- The Trial of Ratko Mladic - Henry Singer and Rob Miller, UK
- Rebels! - Kari Anne Moe, Norway
Good Pitch is a BRITDOC project in partnership with Ford Foundation and the Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program. BRITDOC is a nonprofit film foundation supported by Channel 4 Television, PUMA, Bertha Foundation and Ford Foundation. They also work with a number of other US and European Foundations across their projects.
Since 2005, the BRITDOC mission has been to befriend great filmmakers, support great films, broker new partnerships, build new business models, share new knowledge and develop new audiences globally.
