Eye Presents are a 50 seat CGI animation studio that seeks out well known or unique intellectual properties to develop and produce content for children and family audiences.
They received Creative Europe support for Flix, a new animation based on Tomi Ungerer's book about a dog raised in Cat Town.
Genevieve Dexter, C.E.O of Eye Presents, said:
"The MEDIA single project fund has enabled us to rework the visuals and scripts on this project, Flix, working more closely with the author, Tomi Ungerer, and trying out several artists to find a good fit for his style. This process is longer and more expensive than our original approach and this funding has enabled us to take the time to do this. The application process for MEDIA always spurs you to secure pre-sales overseas and to find other European partners to strengthen your application as well as providing a structure and timeline in which to work on development, which otherwise can become a never ending story!"
