The Children's Media Conference (UK);

Children’s Film First is a year long project which comprises a number of peer-learning activities for film literacy professionals, in order to stimulate audience development.

Activities:

  • 3 peer-learning seminars (in Germany, Italy and France) for educators and teachers focusing on creative practice in film literacy and promoting exportable models.
  • The CFF conference in Brussels (23-24 September 2015) where 3 peer-learning ECFA seminars are presented as case-studies. In addition, key areas of discussion at the conference include the of use new digital platforms, apps, smart phones to conduct film literacy with young people.
  • An extension of ECFA’s website with a database of short films for children, a database of European film literacy professionals and a selection of online Film Study Guides.
  • An ongoing stimulation of the interest of press and public in European quality films for children.
