Northern Ireland’s culture and heritage has made it one the most interesting places to visit in the world according to the Lonely Planet Guide and others. The challenge for all of us who work across culture and heritage is to make the most of these fantastic assets for all that live and visit here. We would like to invite you to join in a conversation about how we can develop a vision for culture and heritage that can help inform, guide and enthuse us to make the most of the opportunities that present themselves. This is a conversation that will build on some initial thinking from a group which met on February 15, it is important that your voice is also heard and reflected in our thinking.

On Wednesday 10th April we will be holding an event at the Seamus Heaney HomePlace in Magherafelt, that will bring together representatives from the culture, heritage and tourism sectors to reflect on this discussion as well as hear from case studies on recent collaborative policies and projects. The following documents are useful background reading.
