This seminar will give attendees the opportunity to:

  • Get in depth information and advice on Literary Translation, which is specifically aimed at publishers looking to translate works of fiction from other European languages into English
  • Hear from Jacques Testard from Fitzcarraldo Editions and Alyson Coombes from Oneworld Publications about their recent successful Literary Translation applications and find out what makes a good  project
  • Go through the application and award criteria and have your questions answered about what is expected

This event is free but spaces are limited. Priority may need to be given to those who can demonstrate their appropriateness for the event. The next call for Literary Translation is likely to be announced in March 2018 with a deadline in May 2018.
