MEDIA-supported films to screen at the 67th Berlinale

24 films supported through Creative Europe’s MEDIA sub-programme have been selected for this year’s Berlin International Film Festival, receiving grants of nearly €1.7million in total.
In addition to the grants awarded directly through Creative Europe’s schemes, three projects have received funding via two of the international co-production funds supported by the programme (Torino Film Lab and the Word Cinema Fund Europe).

18 UK emerging professionals join the 15th edition of Berlinale Talents

250 emerging professionals from 71 countries have been selected to join this year’s Berlinale Talents, 18 of which are from the UK. Exploring the theme “Courage: Against All Odds,” the talents will participate in a six-day programme featuring over 100 events – many of which are also open to the public.

Join IFFR Live 2017

For its third edition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2017, Creative Europe-funded intitaitve IFFR Live will screen six films simultaneously from Rotterdam in over 45 theatre venues around the world, making it the largest film festival screening yet.
Screenings will take place across Europe and beyond - reaching to places such as Singapore and Tel Aviv. In the UK, Newcastle's Tyneside Cinema will host screenings of four of the selected films from 27 - 29 January.
