What advice do video game developers have for applying to Creative Europe?

On 8 February around 40 video game developers came together for a workshop and panel discussion in London, ahead of the 2 March deadline for Creative Europe’s Video Games development fund.

At the event, potential applicants were given insight from four international developers who have previously received funding for their projects.

Ten MEDIA-funded films nominated for Oscars 2017

In the running to take home an Oscar® at the 89th Academy Awards, which take place on 26 February, are ten films supported by Creative Europe.

Among them is the UK’s Florence Foster Jenkins, nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role and Best Costume Design. The film’s release in a number of European countries has been supported through the Automatic distribution scheme.

Three films compete for Best Foreign Film: Toni Erdmann by Maren Ade, Land of Mine by Martin Zandvliet and A Man Called Ove by Hannes Holm.
