UK co-production selected for dok.incubator 2019

dok.incubator, the international documentary rough-cut workshop funded through Creative Europe's Training scheme, has announced its project selections for 2019.

Filmmaking teams will experience three one-week residential sessions throughout April to September in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Sweden, with the aim of sharpening their final cut and preparing an innovative marketing and distribution strategy for their project.

Creative Europe funds several strands of the Copenhagen's International Documentary Festival, CPH:DOX, including its industry activities, its laboratory style talent development and training programme and its pitching forum. 

This year we attended the festival to gain further insights into how the events operate and what we can learn from the filmmakers, distributors and decision makers on the documentary frontline. 

The Film Corner needs schools to test its new platform

The Film Corner Project has entered its testing phase and is looking for schools to participate. 

An online interactive user-centered platform for film education, the resource is aimed at school students aged 11-18 and their teachers, with the general purpose of increasing an awareness and appreciation around film, as well as increasing film knowledge and skills among students. 

MEDIA films at CPH:DOX 2019

CPH:DOX, Copenhagen's International Documentary Festival, returns to the Danish capital between 20 and 31 March to present an exciting programme of politically-conscious, environmentally-themed and culturally-relevant films. This year's festival is also geared towards the theme of Europe, curated to explore democratic ideals, migration and of course, Brexit. The competition line-up consists of 66 titles, with 43 world premieres, 18 international premieres and five European premieres. Two films competing for the DOX:AWARD include:
