Results from second deadline of Film Festivals scheme announced

The latest results for the Film Festivals scheme (call number EACEA/32/2018) have been published, with 35 organisations from 20 countries selected to receive grants totalling €1.6 million. 

Half of the countries represented are low audiovisual capacity countries and account for 14 festivals overall. 14 are global, whilst eight are documentary festivals, seven are focused on short films, five are animations festivals and one is designed solely for young audiences. 

UK producer Kurban Kassam selected for ACE 29

ACE has unveiled the 18 producers selected to participate in the 29th edition of its ACE Session training programme - supported by Creative Europe's Training scheme - and join the ACE Network. 

The selected producers will attend three workshops throughout the year, focusing on a project they have in development. 15 European countries are represented in the line-up, with producers from Georgia and Lithuania selected for the first time.

EFP at Toronto International Film Festival 2019

The European Film Promotion (EFP) returns to the Toronto International Film Festival (5-15 September) with their EUROPE! UMBRELLA stand. Based at the festival's Industry Centre, the stand provides a central meeting point for 'all things European' and with the support of Creative Europe represents 22 European countries that contribute to 166 European films and co-productions premiering in various sections of the festival. Head over to the stand for networking opportunities with European sales companies, institutes and talent.
