NCEM hosts the first major EEEmerging: Emerging European Ensembles residency in the UK

Aerowaves unveil their list of emerging choreographers

The partners of Aerowaves, a Creative Europe-supported European Platform, have unveiled the list of emerging artists from 17 countries across Europe who have been selected who have been selected to make up the Aerowaves Twenty for 2016. Following an an intensive weekend of watching videos and discussing the work of the choreographers back in October in La Briqueterie in Vitry-sur-Seine, these promising younger choreographers have been chosen from a list of hundreds of choreographers who had submitted applications to the annual open call.

Voices of Culture have published a call for representatives from the cultural and creative sectors (professional organisations, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, European networks, foundations, private organisations) with expertise in promoting intercultural dialogue and bringing communities together through culture in shared public spaces, who would like to contribute to discussions with the European Commission.

The Culture Diary has developed a new guide for cultural organisations to help them to develop their international programming. The publication features case studies from London Symphony Orchestra, Akram Khan Dance Company, Manchester International Festival and Forced Entertainment, and offers guidance on who to contact for practical information on development opportunities, visa and insurance advice, funding and commercial matters.
