Students from Plymouth College of Art project their works on Lille’s Opera House

Around 15 teams of four European and Asian students in animation, digital arts and graphic design worked together for four days on a creative challenge to produce a video mapping performance that was screened on the façade of Lille’s Opera House. Their works were projected onto the Lille’s Opera House during the opening ceremony of Fête de l’anim’ on Friday 25 March.

Year of European Cultural Heritage announced at the European Culture Forum

In the opening speech of the European Culture Forum 2016, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Tibor Navracsics announced that 2018 would be a Year of European Cultural Heritage. Federica Mogherini, Vice-President of the European Commission, added to Navracsics’ announcement on the second day of the forum and emphasised the importance of cultural heritage in cultural policy.
