Report shows Creative Europe's impact in the UK
A report on Creative Europe in the UK shows that the programme's role in supporting company growth and international partnerships is highly valued.
Over two surveys, 620 creative professionals responded to questions about Creative Europe and its impact on projects, professional development and business prospects. The surveys also gathered evidence of Creative Europe’s broader ‘added value’ through open-ended questions.

The UK Culture, Media and Sport Committee launched an inquiry into the impact of Brexit on the creative industries, tourism and the digital single market. As part of this, they asked for written evidence.

Three UK-led projects chosen to support refugee integration

The results of the special Creative Europe call for projects supporting the integration of refugees have been published with 12 projects, spanning both the cultural and audiovisual sectors, selected for funding. Three are led by UK organisations and share a total of €596,303, which makes up 25.3% of the entire €2.4 million budget.

Creative Europe launches €121m guarantee facility

The European Commission and the European Investment Fund (EIF) have launched a €121 million guarantee initiative to support SMEs in the cultural and creative sectors via financial institutions. This scheme is expected to create more than €600 million worth of bank loans over the next six years.
