European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Interreg V-C: Inter-regional co-operationToolquiz was a three-year project looking to develop recommendations on how to shape public policies at regional level through culture, creativity and human development.
It aimed to create, exchange and transfer a number of ‘tools’, including models and case studies based on successful projects from across partner regions, that demonstrated and quantified the potential of the creative and cultural sectors.
The Toolquiz project ran from January 2010 to December 2012. Activities organised by Wales Arts International included:
- A conference on Public Private Partnership – skills to grow the arts economy held at Galeri Caernarfon in February 2011.
- A study visit to Wales in February 2012 by delegates from Castilla-La Mancha; Flanders; Wallonia and Rogaland to look at the case study model presented by Arts & Business Cymru – ways of business and the arts working together.
- A seminar Celebrating Young People’s Participation in the Arts held in Cardiff and Pen-y-Graig in June 2012.
