Four UK production companies awarded Slate development funding

The latest results from Creative Europe’s Slate Funding scheme (call number EACEA 21/2016) have been published, with four UK companies successfully securing funding to develop fiction, creative documentary and animation projects for cinema and television. Together they share grants totalling €710,000, they are:

This year, UK submissions increased, with 22 applications coming from UK based companies compared to 15 last year.

Overall, 163 applications were submitted from 24 countries, of these 69 were selected, sharing €12 million.

Slate Funding supports European independent production companies looking to develop 3-5 fiction, animation or creative documentary projects with international potential.
