Single Project results announced

In the latest round of funding from the Single Project development scheme, 57 projects have been awarded grants totalling €2,315,000.

In total, 302 applications from 33 countries were submitted to the 17 November 2016 deadline (call number 20/2016, round one), making a success rate of 19%.

Applications from low audio-visual production capacity countries receive 52.5% of the budget allocated in this deadline largely due to the application of automatic points in the selection process. The share of the successful applications from high production capacity countries (Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the UK) is 12.5%, which reflects the grants awarded to France and Germany only. It is the first time in the Creative Europe programme that no UK projects have been selected, though a it is position shared with Italy and Spain who also receive no grants in this round. Out of the 57 selected projects, just four are selected without any automatic points.
