European Film Forum and Creative Europe MEDIA Showcase

Full details of the European Commission’s European Film Forum and Creative Europe MEDIA showcase at the Berlin International Film Festival (9-17 February) have now been announced. Taking place at the Ritz-Carlton hotel on Monday 13 February, this day-long event is free to attend and open to all audiovisual professionals. A full schedule with details of timings and speakers can be found on the European Commission website.

Info session: Promotion of European audiovisual works online
This session will give an outline of the MEDIA sub-programme’s Promotion of European Audiovisual Works Online scheme, which provides financing for the development of new business models for the distribution of European audiovisual works in the digital era. The session comes ahead of the 6 April deadline.

Sino-European Production Seminar
Creative Europe-funded initiative Bridging the Dragon and the European Film Market present this seminar aimed at providing an effective platform to connect the Chinese and European film industries. The seminar will include an update on the Chinese film market, a panel on casting Chinese actors for co-productions as well as roundtable discussions.
