From 28 to 30 January 2016, the French Institute in South Kensington, London, will host the 5th edition of its franco-british TV drama event, Totally Serialized. Aimed at promoting and improving collaboration between the UK and France, the event showcases the best of new television productions on the big screen. The festival presents exclusive premieres and scriptwriting panels, as well as a chance to attend preview screenings and meet creators and actors from cult TV series. 

Alongside the screenings, a dedicated industry programme is organised in association with BAFTA and Creative Europe Desk UK, aiming to foster international exchanges and co-productions in order to meet the growing demand for high-quality European TV drama. 

Our programme highlights:

  • Franco-British speed dating with Creative Europe

As part of the events, Creative Europe Desk UK and Creative Europe Desk France are delighted to once again support a speed dating session for French and British television producers. A group of 20 selected producers (10 from each side of the Channel) will spend 15 minute slots having one-to-one talks to discuss collaboration ideas and possible co-production partnerships. The meetings will take place at the French Institute Salons in London on 28 January 2016, from 10am to 12.30pm, followed by a lunch. If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch.

  • Creative Europe Case Study

In addition, Creative Europe Desk UK are be sponsoring a case study on the financing of Midnight Sun with Dominique Jubin (CANAL+), Christian Wikander (SVT), Olivier Bibas (Atlantique Productions) and Stefan Baron (Nice Drama). The presentation will take place on 28 January from 3 to 4pm.
