Keynotes announced for Children's Film First conference

Children's Film First (CFF) has announced three key speakers for its inaugural conference, which takes place in Brussels, Belgium, this September. They are:

  • Boudewijn Koole, Director of Kauwboy
  • Julie Ward, Member of the European Parliament Culture and Education Committee for NW England and co-founder of the parliamentary intergroup on children’s rights
  • Matteo Zacchetti, Deputy Head of the MEDIA sub-programme, responsible for media literacy.

Tonje Hardersen, Director of the Norwegian Film Festival, will moderate.

Other programme highlights include workshops, creative practice sessions and the industry panel, Access to Children's Film, which will look at current and future distribution models.

Run with the support of the MEDIA sub-programme, CFF is a new, Europe-wide conference for anybody who works with children, to educate and inspire them about film.

Early bird passes are available until 1 September 2015. Join the speakers and fellow professionals from cinemas and venues, film festivals, educators, teachers working with film, distributors, producers and academics.
