Call for young early music ensembles for ‘eeemerging’ Residencies 2016

Eeemerging has announced an open call for young early music ensembles to take part in residencies. This project, run by 8 partners from across Europe along with 37 other organisations in the field of early music, promotes emerging early music ensembles (from the Middle Ages to Romanticism) and supports young ensembles by providing:

  • time and space to rehearse during residencies, including accommodation
  • specific training sessions
  • support for professional insertion, including concerts and presentations
  • support for the structuring of the ensemble and for the organisation of tours
  • promotion (recordings, discs, websites)

The eeemerging, Emerging European Ensembles programme is a Large Cooperation Project supported by Creative Europe. The National Centre for Early Music (NCEM) in York is the UK partner in the project.
