European Commission calls to establish European network of experts
The European Commission is calling on the research community to contribute to policy-making in the cultural and audiovisual fields.
The Commission is seeking a network of experts who can offer high-quality advice and analysis. It has launched a tender for applications, which closes on 14 July 2015.
The 'Expert Network on Culture and Audiovisual' (EENCA) will provide guidance in the analysis of sectoral policies. This will serve to enhance the Commission's understanding of the challenges faced by the cultural and creative sectors, to support the continued development of cultural and audiovisual policies, and to promote decision-making based on solid research knowledge and analysis.
The network will cover 28 states and members will be consulted on various topics listed in the tender.
