We are recruiting for a Promotions Co-ordinator to join the Creative Europe Desk UK team and help the UK’s creative, cultural and audiovisual sectors to access funding and opportunities from Creative Europe.
Based at the British Film Institute in London, the post will manage various promotional activities relating to the MEDIA sub-programme, overseeing content on our website, newsletter, social media channels and printed publications.

Culture specialist Stephanie Grant will be in Bristol for a day of bookable one to one meetings to discuss your potential Creative Europe project. A meeting would be particularly useful for anyone interested in developing a Cooperation Project for the upcoming call this autumn.
The European Film Academy have announced the nine films competing in this year’s People’s Choice Award.
Fans can cast their votes on the EFA website and be entered into a prize draw to attend the 31st European Film Awards on 15 December in Seville.
Past winners include Amélie, Hasta La Vista, Ida, Slumdog Millionaire, The King’s Speech and Farewell To Europe.

The latest results from Creative Europe’s Slate Funding scheme (call number EACEA 23/2017) have been published, with 73 European companies successfully securing funding to develop fiction, creative documentary and animation projects for cinema, television and digital platforms. Together they share grants totalling €12,372,880.

The BFI London Film Festival returns in October showcasing 225 feature films from 75 countries.
Among the line-up are over 20 features that have received support from Creative Europe, with three in competition and many with UK involvement.
