UK project selected for Holland Film Meeting Co-Pro Platform
Lindy Heymann’s Rum Doxy Driver has been selected as one of 24 projects to be presented at Holland Film Meeting at the end of September.
The film is an adaptation of Sara Stockbridge’s acclaimed novel, Hammer, about a Victorian female pickpocket, and is pitched as part of HFM’s Co-Pro Platform by Liverpool-based producers Hurricane Films.
The co-production and networking event is supported by Creative Europe’s Access to Markets scheme and takes place from 24 to 27 September in Utrecht, in parallel with the Netherlands Film Festival (20-29 September).
Over the past 18 years the Holland Film Meeting has established itself as a key stopping-off point for projects from all over Europe to find partners in the north-western region of Europe. The size and profile of the platform allows the matching of professionals from countries with a lower production capacity to those from countries with more established film industries and to match newcomers with established film professionals, through four days of networking, workshops, panels and conferences.
