UK project selected for 5th edition of Bridging the Dragon
Bridging the Dragon has announced the 16 projects - eight of which are European and eight of which are Chinese - that will take part in the 5th edition of its Sino-European Project Lab.
Funded through Creative Europe's Access to Markets scheme, the Lab is an immersive workshop designed to foster collaboration between Europe and China and overcome cultural differences.
One project from the UK has been selected to attend:
- Hidden Under Moss is directed by Alexander Darby and produced by Lowkey Films
A British Chinese woman living in London, volunteers for the Samaritans, wanting to do something meaningful. But when she recognises the voice of a suicidal caller, she resolves to track down a Chinese lover she hasn't seen in decades, triggering a journey into a long forgotten and painful past.
The Lab received over 80 project applications from 18 countries with genres including sci-fi, romantic comedy, children's animation and documentary. Selected projects teams will spend three intensive days in Beijing in mid-October, developing projects, sharing ideas and creating professional relationships.
