Submissions open for LIFF29

Programme selection is underway for the 29th Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF). The majority of new films screened at LIFF are sourced from these entries and last year filmmakers from over 90 countries sent their work in for consideration.

The festival receives funding through the Creative Europe - MEDIA programme's Film Festivals scheme.

The festival is now accepting features and shorts. It is considering films for multiple categories of film selection including national and international competitions, some with cash prizes of £1000 each.

For the first time this year, submission platforms have been extended to include FilmFreeway.

The earlybird deadline is 1 May 2015. Regular deadline: 31 July 2015.

Check the LIFF submissions page for more details.
