Staying Together with Creative Europe – a new event series

With one year left until the UK formally withdraws from the European Union, we are asking leading voices from the European audiovisual industry to explore what the phrase “We are leaving the European Union but we are not leaving Europe” might mean for UK audiovisual professionals looking to internationalise their careers and expand their networks.

Join us for 'Staying Together with Creative Europe' a six-session showcase of some of the initiatives and support mechanisms funded through Creative Europe’s MEDIA sub-programme framed within the context of ongoing negotiations for the UK exiting the EU.

All events will take place from 5 - 7pm at BFI Southbank and will be followed by a chance to network with speakers and fellow attendees.

The session will look at a number of opportunities to help writers and directors develop their projects, while also exploring the craft of developing a script for the international market and the pros and cons of being a solo writer/director vs. working in a partnership.
