Second round of Single Project results announced

The latest results for the Call for Proposals EACEA 17/2019 – 2nd deadline, Development of Audiovisual Content – Single Project, have been published with 71 projects awarded grants totalling €2,925,000.

In total, 487 applications from 34 countries were submitted with 71 funded, making an overall success rate of 15%. France received the highest overall amount of funding totalling €525,000 distributed over 14 projects. In total, 12 animation projects, 21 documentaries and 38 fiction projects have been selected.

This year one UK production company was selected, giving the UK an application success rate of 5%. UK production company Sixteen Films has been awarded €50,000 towards their fiction project Harvest, which is adapted from Jim Crace’s book about a late-medieval village and is being co-developed with Joslyn Barnes.
