The Pixel Lab embraces Scotland for 2015
Power to the Pixel (PttP) has announced new partnerships with Creative Scotland, Highlands and Islands Enterprises, Scottish Development International (SDI) and BBC ALBA. They join long-term partners Creative Europe - MEDIA programme of the European Union and Creative Skillset to support The Pixel Lab for 2015.
The new collaboration sees The Pixel Lab head to Inverness in Scotland for Workshop One, which runs from 28 June to 3 July 2015.
"We’re thrilled to be working with such a wide range of Scottish creative and business organisations on this year’s Pixel Lab. The expertise and resources they each have in offering support to innovative, forward-thinking projects and talent will only strengthen this year’s programme and potential collaborations between our international participants and the region." said Liz Rosenthal, CEO & Founder of Power to the Pixel.
The Pixel Lab invites up to 20 producers with a project as well as 20 media professionals without projects to attend the initial workshop. Participants receive project-focused mentoring on audience engagement strategies, brand building and methods of using emerging technologies, interactivity and cross-platform approaches to IP development.
Head to the PttP website for full details on The Pixel Lab programme and how to apply.
The application deadline is 6pm GMT on 26 March 2015.
