New pilot project for Cultural and Creative Industries
This new pilot call will focus on supporting learning and innovation in the cultural and creative industries.
One of the pillars of the European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage is “boosting skills in cultural heritage professions”. There is a budget of just over €1 million allocated to support this project for the cultural heritage sector.
The objectives are to explore activities which aim to bridge the gap between cultural skills development and the labour market, and to encourage connections with creative industries and ‘third places’ such as creative hubs, maker spaces, fablabs, cultural centers and others. This new call also comes at the same time as the Makers' Mobility pilot project which supports exhange and collaboration between creative hubs across Europe.
Applicants must be cultural and creative professionals and entrepreneurs or other stakeholders active in the cultural and creative sectors.
The grant agreement resulting from this call will be allocated to one single project. The duration of the project will be 28 months and is expected to start at the beginning of 2020.
