MEDIA-supported films to screen at the 67th Berlinale
24 films supported through Creative Europe’s MEDIA sub-programme have been selected for this year’s Berlin International Film Festival, receiving grants of nearly €1.7million in total.
In addition to the grants awarded directly through Creative Europe’s schemes, three projects have received funding via two of the international co-production funds supported by the programme (Torino Film Lab and the Word Cinema Fund Europe).
The list, which features 11 world premieres, also includes British director Gurinda Chadha’s latest offering Viceroy’s House. To date, distributors in Greece and Portugal have received Creative Europe funding to release this film in their respective territories.
