Four UK projects selected for Cartoon Movie's co-production forum

The European animation co-production forum returns for its 21st edition between 5 and 7 March in Bordeaux, France.

A total of 66 projects from 25 countries have been selected to participate; 28 in the concept stage, 24 in development, seven in production and seven in sneak preview. Among those selected four are from the UK, or have UK involvement:

  • Kiki by Lupus Films (UK)
  • King of the Swamp by Mummysboy (UK)
  • The Highest Mountain of Books in the World by Les Quatre Productions (UK)
  • The Tree of Ears by Small Boss (Italy), Red Kite Animation (UK), Fabian&Fred (Germany) and APEmanStudio (Spain)

The two-day pitching and co-production forum for animated feature films receives funding through Creative Europe's Access to Markets scheme. During the event, producers have the opportunity to pitch their projects to potential financiers, find co-producers, negotiate deals with distributors and gain exposure to professionals and buyers in the animation industry.
