
Four UK projects join the Gap Financing Market
The Venice Film Festival has revealed a line-up of 40 European and International projects for this year’s Gap Financing Market, taking place between 2 and 3 September during the Venice Production Bridge at the 73rd edition of the Festival. Four are from the UK:
- Cain, Abel and the Cowgirl by Dina Salah Amer (UK, France, USA) – documentary
- Oh Moscow by Sally Potter, Adventure Pictures (UK) - interactive/multimedia experience
- The Boy in the Book by Fernando De Jesus, CYOD Ltd., Thinking Violets (UK) - interactive/web series
- Difficult Second Coming by Dylan Edwards and Natasha O'Keeffe, Electric Sandbox (UK) - web series
At the two-day event, which is funded through Creative Europe’s Access to Markets scheme, producers have the opportunity to close their international financing by meeting with potential financiers for 30 minute one-to-one meetings.
