Developing partnerships between the Ukraine and the UK

The British Council is supporting the development of stronger partnerships between cultural communities in the Ukraine and the UK by offering small research or travel awards to enable UK or Ukraine-based cultural organisations to explore potential collaborations with each other, which could lead to a joint application to Creative Europe.

Ukraine became eligible to take part in Creative Europe in November 2015. As part of its annual Arts Programme, the British Council aims to enhance the Ukraine’s ability to develop their collaborative transnational work and to access funding and opportunities available through Creative Europe.

Awards of up to £2,400 are available to fund travel and living costs for two visits between UK and Ukrainian cultural organisations and other relevant sectoral institutions (trade associations, creative enterprises). These may take the form of either two separate visits (in either direction) by individuals or two individuals on one visit. Find out more about how to apply before the deadline on Tuesday 31 May 2016.
