Come to the European Culture Forum in November in Brussels
Please note that the European Culture Forum has been cancelled following an announcement from The European Commission security services on Monday 23 November that “bigger events organised by the Commission taking place on external premises (not in Commission buildings) are to be cancelled until further notice, in line with the recommendations of the Belgian authorities”. Therefore, we have decided to postpone our networking drinks in Brussels on Thursday.
Please sign up to our newsletter for updates on when the Forum and our networking event will be re-scheduled in 2016. We hope to see you at a forthcoming event.
Registration for the 2015 European Culture Forum, taking place on 26-27 November in Brussels, has now closed and you'll have been sent an email to confirm whether you have been allocated a place. You can view the full programme online and you can also watch a live stream of many sessions.
What is The European Culture Forum?
It is a free biennial gathering of European policy makers and those working in the cultural and creative sectors across Europe and beyond, giving them the chance to meet and discuss common developments and challenges. The programme brings together panel discussions, artistic performances and networking opportunities, and this year’s Forum will focus on how talent and creativity can boost innovation, growth and jobs; the digital single market; social cohesion and intercultural dialogue; and how culture can strengthen Europe on the global scene.
Why should I attend?
This is a great opportunity to better understand what is being discussed at European level in policy and best practice. The forum also offers excellent networking with European policy makers and those working in the cultural and creative sectors. And, of course, the conference is free!
What will Creative Europe Desk UK be doing at the Culture Forum?
- Come and talk to us at Creative Europe Flash Sessions throughout the Forum.
- Creative Europe Desk UK invites you to join us for networking drinks on Thursday 26 November from 6.30-8.30pm at Epaulé Jeté, Place Eugène Flagey 13, near the conference venue. This will be a great opportunity to meet European peers and start European conversations. Admission free, booking essential.
