ArteKino Festival prepares for its third edition

Throughout December, the third edition of ArteKino Festival will take place, showcasing ten films that represent a snapshot of the diverse, eclectic and daring nature of contemporary European cinema. Viewers from 45 European countries will have access to the line-up of films by both established directors and first time filmmakers.

Supported by Creative Europe through the Promotion of Audiovisual Works Online scheme, ArteKino Festival was launched in 2016 with the intention of giving modern European arthouse films greater visibility and wider distribution. Other projects to have been selected for funding this year include MUBI and Walter Presents

Deborah Haywood's directorial debut Pin Cushion (UK) is one of the ten films selected, which also received marketing support through European Film Promotion’s Film Sales Support scheme in 2018.

Another selection, Mug (Poland) was supported throughout the Selective Distribution scheme for its release in the UK, courtesy of Bulldog Film Distribution
