Student at La Poudrière animation course

Apply to La Poudrière - training for TV and web animation series

La Poudrière offers training for emerging animation professionals wishing to work on audiovisual adaptation projects for children.

Funded by the Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme, the course takes place over 11 weeks in Valence, France.

Running from 20 April - 3 July 2015, it includes a week spent at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Market.

To begin with, each group works on developing a concept for a TV or web series which is either original or based on a children's book. In the second session, participants will work on writing a screenplay for a 13-minute TV special based on a children's book.

The final projects are submitted to a jury of animation industry professionals - authors and publishers, writers, directors and producers - who assess the interest and feasibility of each project.

For more information and details of how to apply, visit the La Poudrière website.

The deadline for applications: 23 March 2015.
