Applications now open for MBS course in audiovisual distribution

The Media Business School (MBS) is accepting applications for the m&id – Marketing and International Distribution course, which runs from 20 to 24 July 2015 in Ronda (Málaga, Spain).

Structured as a five-day residential training workshop, m&id deals with production, marketing, distribution, exhibition, sales and acquisitions from both a theoretical and a practical point of view. The course is aimed at professionals from the entertainment and audiovisual sector, such as entrepreneurs, producers and company executives.

Lessons cover both traditional and digital-driven marketing and distribution strategies, as well as consumer behaviour and audience targeting. It offers an extensive insight into the latest marketing trends and sales strategies, new business models and market and festival strategies.

m&id is led by Peter Buckingham, former head of distribution at UK Film Council and British Film Institute (BFI). The course is co-financed by the Creative Europe - MEDIA programme.

Participants have the opportunity to significantly expand their professional network of contacts, learning from top industry professionals and working side-by-side with leading industry players from all over the world.

Applications are being accepted until 19 June 2015.
