15 films selected for presentation at Les Arcs Film Festival's Works in Progress meeting

Les Arcs Film Festival, now in its 10th edition, has selected 15 projects currently in post-production for its Works in Progress meeting. The 2018 selection, compiled by Frédéric Boyer, artistic director of Les Arcs Film Festival was whittled down from 130 applications and projects from 23 European countries are represented. 

The WiP session screens excerpts from these films, that are currently in post-production, to sales agents, festival programmers, distributors and funds in a bid to maximise their potential audience. The event has become a prestigious signalling in the industry of careers on the cusp of greatness, having previously selected Lukas Dhont's Cannes-winning Girl and Rungano Nyoni's BAFTA-winning I Am Not a Witch, both of which will compete at the Oscarss® this year for Best Foreign Language Film. 

Projects selected this year includeThe Castle which received development funding through the Single Project scheme and Hide and Seek, directed by Victoria Fiore and produced by My Accomplice in co-production with Italy's Bronx Film.
