ArthurCox is a BAFTA-winning Bristol based animation and multiscreen production company that specialises in all things moving. They create commercials for broadcast, collaborative platforms and internal communications and have won awards at film festivals around the world; from short animations and live action features all the way through to archive footage and mobile apps, they focus on quality design, well-observed comedy, and strong storytelling.
Jasia is an animated feature film currently in development with director, designer and animator Magdalena Osinska. It is based on the true story of her grandmother's experiences as a seven year old orphaned girl in Poland throughout the Second World War.
Producer Charlotte Wadsworth said:
"ArthurCox are absolutely delighted to have received the Creative Europe development funding for our animated feature Jasia. This is a unique and special project, and we are very excited to now be able to start work on the script that will bring this true survival story of a stubborn little Polish girl to the screen."
The trailer screened at Cartoon Movie in March 2015.
