Collaborative Europe: How and why we make it happen
Join us at the heart of the Edinburgh festivals in August for a European networking evening and short roundtable.
Following events including the EU referendum, Creative Europe Desk UK invites you to take a moment during one of the largest international celebrations of culture in the year to reflect on how and why we collaborate across borders, and to shine some light on success stories of European collaboration.
Chaired by Leonie Bell, Head of Arts and Engagement at Creative Scotland, the panel includes Judith Knight from Artsadmin, Una Nic Eoin from Prime Cut Productions, Nuno Sacremento, Director of Scottish Sculpture Workshop, and Fiona Ferguson from Imaginate. They will discuss the challenges and rewards of European partnerships, and the questions we face in the arts and cultural sector in today’s context.
Hear insights and reflections from speakers who are experienced in developing and running European and international projects, and continue the conversation over a glass of wine and nibbles.
If you're in Edinburgh earlier in the month, you are also very welcome to attend our panel discussion Beyond Touring: From International Working to Transnational Projects taking place at Fringe Central on Wednesday 17 August from 11am-1pm.
