This event is aimed at publishers and publishing organisations who are interested in submitting an application for Literary Translation.

This seminar will give attendees the opportunity to:

  • Get in depth information and advice on Literary Translation, which is specifically aimed at publishers looking to translate works of fiction from other European languages into English
  • Hear from West Camel from Orenda Books and Jacques Testard from Fitzcarraldo about their recent successful Literary Translation applications, and find out what makes a good project application.
  • Go through the application and award criteria and have your questions answered about what is expected

This event is free but spaces are limited. Priority may need to be given to those who can demonstrate their appropriateness for the event.

If you're interested in Literary Translation but are unable to make this event please contact us to discuss alternative options.
