Join us at the SPECTRA Catalyst Conference in Aberdeen

As part of SPECTRA festival, Aberdeen City Council and Creative Europe beneficiary Curated Place invite artists, designers, academics, architects, business leaders, social entrepreneurs and international partners to a two day action-focused conference themed around cities, light, events and economy.
This conference will explore key arts and cultural catalysts through panel discussions, workshops, tours and discussion groups, as well as feature performances from SPECTRA festival artists, networking events and evening entertainment.
Curated Place and Aberdeen City Council will also support a series of pilots projects shaped from the best of the conference ideas to take shape ready for SPECTRA 2018.
Kate Deans, Culture Officer of Creative Europe Desk UK-Scotland, will be in Aberdeen for both days of the conference, and will also take part in the final panel on Saturday, which focuses on accessing funding, audiences and markets. Speak to Kate about Creative Europe’s Cooperation Project funding for projects working across borders in collaboration with organisations in other countries.

This conference takes places as part of SPECTRA, Aberdeen’s Festival of Light, produced by Curated Place, who lead on two Creative Europe supported projects Moving Classics and ENLIGHT: European Light Expression Network. Part of the SPECTRA programme includes completed works and works in progress from artists participating in residencies in ENLIGHT.
