Find out more about Creative Europe funding for the audiovisual sector - Glasgow
CCA, 350 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 3JD
Join Creative Europe Desk UK-Scotland for an information session about Creative Europe’s funding support for film, television and documentary producers.
Creative Europe has three funding schemes for producers:
- Development: Single Project, for independent production companies looking to develop a project with international potential for cinema, television or digital platforms
- Development: Slate, for companies developing 3-5 projects
- TV Programming, supporting the production of fiction, animation or creative documentary projects.
This event will break down the three funding calls and explain:
- how much is available through each fund
- how to know if your company is eligible
- what types of projects are eligible
- when you should apply
- what you need to include with your application
- how your application is scored
- where to go for support.
As part of the event, Nigel Pope from Maramedia will be interviewed about Wild Way of the Vikings, which recently secured funding through Creative Europe's TV Programming scheme. The new nature series tracks the route the Vikings took across Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Nigel will explain the background to the project, how it was planned with Creative Europe support in mind and how the project became eligible for funding.
This event is open to producers and other filmmakers interested in developing international work and attendees are warmly invited to stay for conversations over drinks at the end.
